Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney with over 7 years of experience to join its growing employment law practice. The role involves advising clients on employment law matters, including employee handbooks, wage and hour compliance, hiring practices, and training on harassment prevention and leadership development. 

Location:

  • Woburn, MA

Duties:

  • Advise clients on employment law, including employee handbooks, policies, wage and hour compliance.
  • Provide guidance to employers on hiring practices and legal compliance.
  • Conduct on-site employee training on topics such as harassment prevention, leadership development, and crisis management.
  • Assist clients in navigating employment contracts and investigations.
  • Support employers in risk management and crisis response efforts.
  • Offer legal advice to independent schools (K-12) as outside or in-house counsel (preferred).

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in employment law.
  • Proven experience with employee policies, wage and hour compliance, and risk management.
  • Experience in delivering on-site employee training and leadership development.
  • Ability to manage complex employment law matters for a variety of clients.
  • Prior experience working with independent schools is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction (New Hampshire or Massachusetts).

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly for employee training.
  • Ability to handle multiple client matters in a fast-paced environment.
