A law firm in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. The role offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, work alongside leading trusts and estates lawyers, interact directly with clients, and enhance professional skills with ample resources.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and execute estate planning for individuals and family-owned businesses.
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Conduct estate and tax planning, including wealth transfer strategies.
  • Handle trust and estate administration, probate matters, and guardianships.
  • Provide legal advice on estate and gift tax issues.
  • Collaborate with clients, financial advisors, and other professionals.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of New Hampshire or eligibility for admission by waiver.
  • 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration.
  • Strong academic record with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with drafting complex estate planning documents.
  • Knowledge of estate and gift tax laws and wealth transfer strategies.
