Commercial Practice Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Commercial Practice Attorney to join their team in Trinity, FL. This hybrid position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in commercial law who are eager to work directly with clients such as general contractors, developers, and business owners.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in various aspects of commercial law, including construction, corporate/business, employment, real estate, and tax law.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business operations and provide tailored legal solutions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents pertinent to commercial transactions.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Participate in client meetings and provide updates on legal matters.
• Mentor and collaborate with paralegals and junior attorneys in the firm.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting clients in the commercial sector.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• The top 20% of the graduating class is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial attorney representing businesses.
• Strong understanding of business operations and commercial law practices.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the state bar where the position is located.
