Lateral Corporate Attorney

A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is actively seeking a highly experienced Lateral Corporate Attorney with a minimum of 8 years of general corporate experience to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group. The firm is open to adding individual attorneys or small groups of attorneys who are motivated, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and have significant experience, including serving in the outside general counsel role.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on a broad range of corporate matters.
• Handle complex transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and corporate governance issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, demonstrating a client-focused approach.
• Collaborate with legal teams and contribute to the firm's growth and development.
• Work independently or lead small groups of attorneys, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of general corporate experience.
• Proven experience serving in the outside general counsel role.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in Minnesota.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in Minnesota.
