Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload involving creditors' rights, ensuring timely and effective legal representation.
  • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct discovery practices and participate in depositions, effectively resolving conflicts as they arise.
  • Represent clients in court and advocate for their interests in various legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to formulate strategic case plans and enhance the firm’s reputation in the community.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the legal industry to establish trust and credibility with clients.
  • Remain informed about relevant laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide well-informed legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Must be an active member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar; must be licensed (or able to obtain a license quickly) in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; newly licensed attorneys are also encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses are advantageous.
