A law firm in Greenville is seeking an experienced General Liability Defense Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will handle a diverse caseload focusing on defending clients in complex litigation matters involving general liability claims.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of litigation from inception through trial, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Conduct legal research and provide timely legal analysis on various legal issues.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement case strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active Bar membership in good standing in the state of South Carolina.

  • Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
