Job Overview: A well-regarded law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team in Baltimore, MD. This position involves managing a diverse caseload, encompassing both pre-litigation and litigation files, with a focus on providing comprehensive client support. Ideal candidates are experienced in personal injury law, have strong litigation skills, and are capable of overseeing cases from inception through to resolution.

Location:

Duties:

  • Oversee and manage personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement, including drafting demands and interacting with adjusters.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and other litigation-related filings.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the legal process, ensuring they are informed and supported.
  • Attend Examinations Under Oath (EUOs), depositions, mediations, and hearings on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including drafting responses and gathering relevant documents.
  • Supervise and manage paralegals to ensure efficient case progression and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct introductory calls with new clients, providing initial legal advice and guidance.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland State Bar and in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, including both pre-litigation and litigation.
  • Proven litigation skills, with experience in drafting legal documents and conducting negotiations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team engagement.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing paralegals or support staff is preferred.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar license in Maryland.

Skills:
