Associate Attorney needed for Lake Mary office

A law firm in Lake Mary, FL, specializing in creditor's rights, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will handle various aspects of creditor's rights litigation, including court calls, motions, contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and approving legal pleadings and working with a dynamic team of legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute court calls effectively.
• Handle motions, contested hearings, arbitrations, and trials with proficiency.
• Draft, review, and approve legal pleadings including complaints, motions, discovery requests, and post-judgment supplemental proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure the successful management of cases.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in creditor's rights or related legal practice.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license to practice law in Florida.
• Additional law licenses in Kentucky, Indiana, and/or Ohio are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle litigation and legal proceedings with professionalism.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications:

• Active law license in the State of Florida.
