The ideal candidate will handle their own caseload, work closely with a seasoned Partner on litigation strategy, and provide exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and handle a diverse caseload of Workers' Compensation claims.
  • Collaborate with a Partner to develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
  • Review and analyze medical records and legal documents to support case preparation.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to ensure case progress.
  • Stay informed about current Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal procedures and requirements.
  • Provide high-quality client service through timely updates and responsive communication.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar and active membership in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workers' Compensation defense preferred.
  • Strong writing skills with experience in reviewing medical records.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload effectively.
  • Experience working or schooling in a virtual setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
