Duties:

  • Evaluate invention technology and assess patentability
  • Draft and file patent applications with the USPTO
  • Collaborate with inventors, researchers, and attorneys to develop patent strategies
  • Respond to USPTO office actions and assist in patent prosecution
  • Manage client portfolios and provide strategic patent guidance
  • Work with clients to develop long-term patent strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technological developments in 5G, AI, and related fields

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution
  • Proven track record in patent prosecution within electrical engineering
  • Registered with the USPTO or eligible for registration
  • Strong knowledge of 5G, Wi-Fi, wireless technologies, AI, and image processing
  • Experience working with complex technologies like processors, memory systems, and RF front-end

Education:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Certifications:

  • USPTO Registration (or eligibility)

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams of inventors, researchers, and attorneys
  • Experience with portfolio management and client interaction
  • Preferred: Expertise in emerging technologies such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, and computer vision
