As a Senior Attorney, the individual will work closely with colleagues, including legal assistants, to provide top-tier legal representation to clients facing criminal charges.

Duties:

• Advise clients on their legal rights and assist in drafting legal documents related to cases.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings, offering guidance on strategic approaches post-hearing.
• Handle court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
• Analyze case outcomes using legal precedents and provide sound legal opinions to clients.
• Manage a comprehensive caseload, ensuring timely and efficient case progression.
• Assess case benefits and provide clients with legal analysis on potential outcomes.
• Collect evidence and supporting materials to bolster the defense or challenge prosecution charges.
• Prepare clients for depositions, strategize case goals, and collaborate with witnesses and experts.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Criminal Defense law.
• Experience managing complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach to case strategy.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
