Pre-Litigation Attorney

Duties:

• Investigate case facts and develop evidence to support damages claims
• Negotiate settlements, including lien resolution, where appropriate
• Maintain communication and build positive relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and insurance representatives
• Collaborate with teams to accomplish law firm goals
• Supervise and provide guidance to support staff
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio
• Minimum of 2-5 years of plaintiff or defense personal injury practice
• Experience in insurance defense and/or claims handling is a significant advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Needles case management software is preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Superior negotiation skills and ability to perform under pressure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Ohio Bar License

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle high caseloads and work under pressure
• Excellent client relationship management
• Familiarity with personal injury law and pre-litigation procedures
