Duties:

  • Represent lenders or tax equity investors in renewable energy project finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents related to project financing.
  • Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues affecting project finance in the renewable energy sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other legal professionals, clients, and external partners.
  • Conduct legal research and provide actionable advice to clients promptly.
  • Maintain and foster strong client relationships, ensuring consistent communication and high-quality service.
  • Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting the industry.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of transactional experience in project finance, with a focus on renewable energy.
  • Proven experience representing lenders or tax equity investors in project finance transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Texas (Texas Bar membership required).

Education:
