Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a talented mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience to join their Insurance Recovery team. The firm specializes in representing policyholders in various aspects of the insurance recovery process, including policy analysis, claims presentation, and disputes in both domestic and international litigation and arbitration.

Duties:

• Analyze insurance policies and evaluate claims or losses associated with them.
• Advise clients on the presentation and negotiation of insurance claims.
• Represent clients in insurance-related disputes, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Manage complex litigation and arbitration cases for policyholders.
• Provide strategic counsel on insurance coverage issues across multiple industries.
• Collaborate with senior associates and partners to develop case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Maintain relationships with clients and provide ongoing guidance throughout legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance recovery or a similar practice area.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and claims process.
• Experience in handling complex litigation and arbitration matters.
• Ability to work independently while managing a caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• J.D. (Juris Doctor) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Pennsylvania.
