Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload involving family law, civil litigation, business law, personal injury, and criminal law.
• Develop case strategies by predicting legal outcomes, evaluating options, and preparing briefs and memoranda.
• Gather evidence and prepare cases by attending depositions, court hearings, and client meetings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
• Stay updated on changes in the legal field and relevant case law.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in personal injury law, civil litigation, and family law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in California.

Skills:

• Proficiency in litigating and negotiating legal matters.
• Strong knowledge of various areas of law, including environmental law and workers' compensation law.
• Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw.
