Duties:

• Manage a diverse caseload of general liability litigation matters, including complex claims.
• Provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on liability risks and litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in court, at depositions, and during other legal proceedings.
• Develop and execute effective defense strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Coordinate with other legal professionals and team members to ensure optimal case outcomes.
• Participate in business development and firm growth initiatives as opportunities arise.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in General Liability litigation.
• Proven track record of successful case management and litigation.
• Excellent references with a stable employment history.
• Active membership in the California State Bar and good standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar (active and in good standing).
