Duties

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in family law, criminal defense, estate planning, and other practice areas.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as contracts, wills, petitions, and motions.
• Conduct legal research to support cases, providing clear and concise analysis for clients and the court.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept informed.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to resolve complex legal issues.
• Stay updated on developments in various areas of law, with particular emphasis on family law and estate planning.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing attorney, with a preference for experience in family law, estate planning, or criminal defense.
• Strong academic background and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Utah or eligibility for admission to the Utah Bar.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to case management and client service.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required.
