Duties:

  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in court hearings.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Handle trials as either second or first chair based on experience.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on case law and regulations.
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations.
  • Manage and oversee case files from inception through trial.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a trial attorney.
  • Proven experience in negotiating settlements and handling court hearings.
  • Strong deposition and trial skills, with the ability to serve as second or first chair.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of California.

  • Proficient in legal research and writing.
