Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle emergency appellate matters as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and appellate procedures.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as required.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
  • 2 years of prior appellate experience, either at a law firm or as a judicial law clerk.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality legal writing and analysis.
  • Proven experience handling numerous projects and cases on an emergency basis.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
