The ideal candidate will offer comprehensive and personalized legal services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, executives, business owners, and their closely held companies. This role requires expertise in drafting a variety of legal agreements, managing estate and trust administration, conducting legal research, and providing advice on complex estate, gift, and income tax matters. Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are essential.

Duties:

• Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including estate planning documents, advanced irrevocable trusts, prenuptial agreements, corporate formation documents, and buy-sell agreements.
• Manage estate and trust administration, including probate proceedings and the management of trust assets.
• Conduct legal research and provide expert advice on estate, gift, and income tax matters.
• Deliver personalized legal services to high-net-worth clients, multi-generational families, executives, business owners, and their closely held companies.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop customized legal strategies.
• Transition seamlessly among diverse tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Stay current with relevant laws and regulations affecting estate and tax planning.
• Represent clients in negotiations and legal proceedings as required.

Requirements:

• 2-6 years of experience in estate, tax, and business planning matters.
• Admission to the Michigan Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
