Job Overview

A respected law firm specializing in civil litigation, business formation, and transactions is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Attorney to join its real estate and civil litigation team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead cases, develop strategies, and work directly with clients in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Duties

• Draft and respond to complaints

• Engage in meet-and-confer discussions with opposing counsel

• Develop and implement case strategies

• Conduct and coordinate discovery

• Take and defend depositions

• Draft legal documents, including motions, stipulations, briefs, and declarations

• Attend mediations, hearings, and deliver oral arguments

• Maintain consistent and effective communication with clients

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in real estate and complex commercial litigation

• Strong knowledge of California state law

• Ability to independently manage cases from start to finish

• Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills

• Ability to handle a high caseload with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of California and in good standing
