Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload focusing on creditors' rights, ensuring effective representation and timely case resolution.
  • Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct discovery, manage depositions, and address conflict resolution effectively.
  • Advocate for clients in court, representing their interests across various legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop strategic case plans that enhance the firm's reputation and performance.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships within the legal community to establish trust and credibility with clients.
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations, including TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the Bankruptcy Code, to provide knowledgeable legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • Must be an active member in good standing with the Missouri Bar and licensed (or able to obtain licensure quickly) in the Missouri federal district and bankruptcy courts.
  • Preference for candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience; applications from newly licensed attorneys are also encouraged.
  • Familiarity with the Missouri legal system and a strong commitment to providing exceptional client service.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Missouri State Bar is required.
  • Additional Bar licenses in other jurisdictions are a plus.
