Mid-Level Global Finance Associate

Job Overview

A premier global law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its expanding Global Finance practice in New York. The ideal candidate will bring 3–6 years of experience handling complex finance transactions and credit arrangements. Duties

• Advise clients on complex domestic and cross-border finance transactions

• Structure, draft, and negotiate a broad range of loan and credit documents

• Work on syndicated loans, direct lending, asset-based lending (preferred), and mezzanine financing

• Provide counsel on intercreditor arrangements and restructuring matters

• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on deal execution

• Maintain regular client communication and manage evolving transaction needs

• Prepare detailed deal sheets and maintain transaction records

Requirements

• 3–6 years of substantive experience in finance and lending transactions

• Strong background working with institutional lenders, debt funds, and investment banks

• Asset-based lending experience is a plus but not required

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial transactions independently

• Strong interpersonal skills and client service orientation

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing)
