Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join its team in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive litigation experience, particularly in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a preference for those knowledgeable in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Supervise associates and guide on case matters.
• Work collaboratively with experts in various fields pertinent to litigation cases.
• Assist in fact development and participate in depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Help formulate and execute case strategy.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Expertise in product liability and complex commercial litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Sound business judgment and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research and problem-solving.
• Conceptual thinking and the ability to influence others persuasively.
• Management skills to supervise and guide junior associates.

Education and Certifications:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.
• Candidates licensed to practice law in New York are encouraged to apply.
• Admission to practice in Delaware (DE).
