Associate Attorney for Saint Louis Office

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a talented and experienced Associate Attorney to join its litigation team in downtown Saint Louis, MO. Duties:

• Represent clients in court, including during hearings, trials, and appeals.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of cases from initial intake through discovery, trial, and resolution.
• Conduct depositions and manage all aspects of the discovery process.
• Perform thorough legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases, providing strategic input and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
• Communicate clearly with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel to ensure effective case management.
• Stay informed of relevant laws, legal precedents, and court rulings to deliver the best possible representation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active licensure with both the Missouri and Illinois State Bars.
• 4-6 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for candidates with courtroom experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple cases efficiently, and stay organized.
• Commitment to client-focused legal work and a passion for justice.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Missouri and Illinois Bar licenses.
