Duties:

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and opposing counsel.
  • Draft comprehensive legal documents, including briefs, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Attend court hearings and trials.
  • Stay up to date with relevant legal developments in healthcare and long-term care laws.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office work.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the Oregon State Bar (required).
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases and legal research.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with trial preparation and courtroom procedures.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Oregon State Bar (required).
  • Washington State Bar (preferred).
