Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a Case Development Intake Attorney to join their team, in San Antonio, TX. This role involves managing the intake process for personal injury cases, working closely with case managers to investigate and develop cases, and preparing files for transfer to the litigation team. Location:

Duties:

  • Manage a docket of approximately 50 cases, coordinating with an assigned case manager.
  • Conduct investigations, preserve evidence, and gather necessary documentation, such as accident reports and witness statements.
  • Communicate with clients and adjusters throughout the case development process.
  • Develop and document medical damages and handle property damage claims.
  • Prepare case status reports, client updates, and expense approvals.
  • Sign up new clients in-office or remotely using electronic signature tools.
  • Handle after-hours client intake calls and conduct off-site client meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards for all case management tasks.
  • Assist with additional projects as assigned, focusing on maximizing case values.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law.
  • Strong commitment to client service and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with customer service or sales, especially in a client-facing role.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and a good driving record.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Texas Bar license.
