Duties:

  • Lead and manage a team of litigators handling personal injury cases.
  • Provide guidance and direction on litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
  • Oversee case development and preparation for trial to maximize case value.
  • Utilize sophisticated software and technology to efficiently manage cases and teams.
  • Ensure the team is meeting all case deadlines and maintaining client-focused strategies.
  • Develop and implement strategies for case management and trial preparation.
  • Mentor and support trial attorneys, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of trial experience (personal injury trial experience preferred).
  • Proven experience managing plaintiff or defense litigation teams.
  • Strong understanding of leadership and management principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of litigation processes, including pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
  • Ability to maximize case value and prepare cases for trial effectively.
  • Experience utilizing legal software and technology to manage cases and teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to client service and results-oriented outcomes.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

Certifications:

  • Texas State Bar membership in good standing.
