Job Overview: A reputable law firm in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a background in plaintiff personal injury and workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate will have significant trial experience and be eager to contribute to a growing and dynamic legal practice. The role involves representing clients in a range of litigation matters and requires someone who can handle cases from inception through trial.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury and workers' compensation cases
  • Handle cases from inception through trial, including preparation and filing of legal documents
  • Conduct depositions, prepare pleadings, and participate in hearings
  • Engage in discovery processes and represent clients in negotiations or mediation
  • Attend court appearances and trial proceedings
  • Advise clients on legal rights and obligations, and guide them through the legal process

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury and workers' compensation
  • Proven trial experience with a strong track record of success in litigation
  • Familiarity with state and federal legal proceedings related to personal injury and workers’ compensation

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Pennsylvania Bar

Skills:

  • Strong litigation and trial advocacy skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team
