Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a seasoned Litigation Associate Attorney with 5-10 years of experience in business, real estate, probate, or general litigation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in law and motion practice, deposition, and trial preparation, capable of handling complex legal issues and leading all aspects of litigation, including trial.

Duties:

• Conduct law and motion practice, including drafting and arguing motions.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Lead trial preparation efforts, including drafting trial briefs, preparing witnesses, and developing trial strategies.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal.
• Research and analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with partners, clients, and other stakeholders on case strategy and litigation tactics.
• Manage a caseload with varying degrees of complexity and urgency.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records and documentation.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in business, real estate, probate, or general litigation or arbitration.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of California.
• Strong experience in law and motion practice, deposition, and trial preparation.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
