Job Overview:
A law firm located in Summerville, SC is currently seeking a qualified Real Estate and/or Estate Planning Attorney to join its legal team. The role involves providing strategic counsel and legal services related to commercial real estate transactions and/or estate planning. Duties:

  • Utilize research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis for legal support and case strategy

  • Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation

Requirements:

  • Experience in commercial real estate or estate planning law (both preferred, but not required)

  • Ability to manage a variety of legal matters independently

  • Strong attention to detail and legal analysis

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable interacting with clients and stakeholders

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the South Carolina Bar or eligibility to practice in South Carolina

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing real estate and estate planning documents

  • Skilled in legal research using Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis, or similar platforms

  • Strong time management and organizational skills
