A law firm seeks a highly skilled associate with 2–4 years of experience in healthcare regulatory matters to join its Health Care Transactional & Regulatory team in Los Angeles. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on cutting-edge legal and strategic matters in the dynamic healthcare and life sciences sectors. Duties

  • Advise clients on healthcare regulatory compliance, with a focus on Medicare, Medicaid, and government price reporting programs.
  • Provide counsel on market access strategies for health care and life sciences companies.
  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and implementing healthcare transactions and related agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on health care policies, laws, and emerging industry trends.
  • Collaborate with clients to address compliance challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, integrating legal, policy, and strategic advisory services.
  • Support clients from diverse sectors, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, digital health, and managed care.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–4 years of health care regulatory experience, preferably with exposure to the life sciences industry or prior government experience.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with federal and state healthcare laws, including Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
  • Attributes: Enthusiasm for health care issues, a team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering client-focused solutions.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.
