Wage and Hour Class Action Associate Attorney

A law firm in Irvine, CA is seeking a Wage and Hour Class Action Associate Attorney to join their team. The role involves drafting legal documents, developing litigation strategies, and representing clients in state and federal courts for wage and hour matters.

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to wage and hour class action cases.
• Develop strategies for litigation of wage and hour matters in both state and federal courts.
• Work as part of a litigation team, representing clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations.
• Refine research, writing, and oral advocacy skills under the mentorship of senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research on complex wage and hour issues.
• Analyze case law and statutes to support legal arguments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Exercise sound judgment and attention to detail in complex legal situations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.
