Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to wage and hour class action cases.
  • Develop strategies for litigation of wage and hour matters in both state and federal courts.
  • Work as part of a litigation team, representing clients in depositions, motion hearings, and mediations.
  • Refine research, writing, and oral advocacy skills under the mentorship of senior attorneys.
  • Conduct legal research on complex wage and hour issues.
  • Analyze case law and statutes to support legal arguments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
  • Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Exercise sound judgment and attention to detail in complex legal situations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing with the California State Bar.
