Immigration Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team in Coral Gables, FL. This full-time position involves representing clients in various immigration matters and providing expert legal advice on immigration policies and procedures.

Duties

• Represent clients in immigration cases, including removal proceedings and family-based petitions.
• Advise clients on immigration laws and policies to ensure compliance and successful applications.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for achieving favorable outcomes.
• Prepare and file immigration-related documents, including asylum applications and work permits.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with clients throughout their cases.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in good standing from any U.S. state.
• A minimum of three years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on asylum cases and other relevant immigration matters.
• Fluency in Spanish is required for effective client interactions.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in a U.S. state.
