Civil Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Las Vegas, NV, with remote work opportunities available. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience handling tort/personal injury defense and complex liability matters. This position offers the opportunity to work on all aspects of civil litigation, from case workup to mediations. Duties:

• Handle tort/personal injury defense and complex liability cases.
• Conduct case workup, research, and analysis.
• Manage discovery processes, including depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in civil litigation, including personal injury defense.
• Proficiency in all aspects of litigation, including case management and discovery.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience in taking depositions and representing clients in mediations.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Nevada State Bar (required).
