Trial Attorney needed for Roseville office

A prominent law firm specializing in Lemon Law and consumer protection litigation is seeking a Senior Trial Attorney to join its team in Roseville, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of litigation experience, including significant trial experience as first chair, and will be passionate about consumer advocacy. Duties

• Develop and lead trial strategy, serving as first chair in trial efforts.
• Conduct and oversee complex legal research to support litigation cases.
• Interface with specialized outside counsel on behalf of the firm and clients.
• Draft and file legal documents, including moving papers and oppositions on complex legal issues.
• Represent clients at hearings for motions and oppositions.
• Conduct depositions of key witnesses, such as executives, technical experts, and others.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve firm policies and client communication efforts.
• Address and resolve legal issues promptly and efficiently.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of litigation and trial experience.
• Proven track record of successful jury verdicts and bench trials as first chair.
• Significant experience in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings, and Multi-District Litigation preferred.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, timekeeping software, and client file management systems.
• Strong time management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to travel within California for court appearances, depositions, and related activities.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney, member of the California Bar in good standing.
