Duties

  • Represent clients in civil litigation cases, from pleadings to resolution through mediation, arbitration, or trial
  • Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and manage case files
  • Work closely with colleagues and clients to develop case strategy and ensure client satisfaction
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and mediations on behalf of clients
  • Provide counsel in areas of law, such as insurance defense and municipal law
  • Leverage technology and legal research tools to optimize case management
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear and consistent communication
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure efficient case progression

Requirements

  • Membership in the Pennsylvania Bar (Required)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of civil litigation experience; insurance defense preferred
  • Experience in municipal law or as a judicial law clerk is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle a varied caseload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in legal research and case management software

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania (Required)

Certifications

  • Active Pennsylvania Bar License (Required)
