Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney

A law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking a Mid-level Structured Finance Associate Attorney with at least 4 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to structured finance transactions, securitization, and CLOs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various transactional documents including offering memoranda, agreements, and disclosures.
• Participate in due diligence processes and prepare related reports for clients.
• Maintain and manage client relationships, effectively communicating with clients, attorneys, and business professionals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and firm policies.
• Attend and contribute to meetings, conference calls, and other firm-related activities as required.
• Handle additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Illinois, active and in good standing.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in structured finance, securitization, and CLOs at a respected law firm.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and sound business judgment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
