Job Title: Corporate Associate Attorney - Crypto/Blockchain
Job Location: Washington, DC

Job Overview:
A leading law firm is actively seeking a skilled Corporate Associate Attorney to join its growing team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3-6 years of experience in corporate transactions, particularly within the crypto and blockchain sectors. The successful candidate will work with cutting-edge clients in the web3 space, advising on a variety of complex crypto-related transactions, including venture capital deals, token issuances, and more.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on venture capital transactions involving crypto token rights and token warrants.
  • Support the issuance of crypto tokens, digital assets, and NFTs for clients.
  • Facilitate primary and secondary sales of crypto tokens and digital assets.
  • Assist in the creation and management of offshore structures for crypto token and digital asset issuances.
  • Provide legal counsel on regulatory and securities law concerns related to crypto tokens and blockchain technology.
  • Collaborate with clients across industries such as fintech, digital media, gaming, and more, addressing a wide range of emerging technology challenges.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of transactional experience, specifically advising on crypto and blockchain-related matters.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology and digital asset markets.
  • Familiarity with securities law and regulatory issues affecting crypto tokens.
  • Proven ability to handle complex transactions with deep attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership in Washington, DC (or the ability to waive into the DC bar).

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and regulatory developments in blockchain and crypto technology.
  • Experience with advising clients across a variety of emerging industries, including fintech and digital assets.
