Litigation Associate

Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Associate with 1-3 years of litigation experience. This position offers the opportunity to practice in various civil litigation matters, including business litigation, construction and real estate litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and tort and product liability litigation. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong writing and oral advocacy skills. Previous court experience or a judicial clerkship is a plus, though not required.

Location:

Duties:

• Handle a variety of general civil litigation matters across state and federal courts.
• Manage cases in areas such as business litigation, construction and real estate, insurance coverage, tort, and product liability.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Prepare and deliver oral arguments and participate in depositions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Attend court hearings and trials as required.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of litigation experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Previous court experience or judicial clerkship is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
