The Senior Criminal Defense Attorney will be responsible for leading legal strategies and representing clients in complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels.

Duties

• Advise clients on legal rights and draft relevant legal documents related to their case
• Represent clients during pretrial hearings, providing strategic counsel after each hearing
• Manage court appearances, trial procedures, motion drafting, and witness interviews
• Conduct legal research and analyze potential case outcomes using legal precedents
• Handle a wide variety of cases and maintain a well-organized caseload
• Provide comprehensive legal analysis for clients to evaluate case strengths and strategies
• Gather evidence to support client cases or contest prosecution charges
• Prepare clients for depositions, define case strategies, and collaborate with witnesses and experts

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-5 years of Criminal Defense experience
• Proficiency in managing complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levels
• Strong team collaboration skills and a commitment to working with fellow associates
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar
• Additional certifications relevant to criminal defense law (optional)
