Job Overview: A prominent law firm in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable attorney to join its legal team. The firm offers a broad range of legal services to financial institutions, including banks, mortgage servicers, investors, and others. Candidates must be in good standing with the California Bar and have experience in areas such as consumer credit collections and creditors' rights.

Duties:

• Utilize case management and reporting software to handle assigned matters efficiently.
• Represent clients in court appearances, with occasional travel required.
• Provide legal services in the areas of consumer credit collections, creditors' rights, foreclosure, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain a deep understanding of state laws regarding consumer collections and the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practices Act).
• Exhibit proactive client communication and deliver superior client care.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive and productive working environment.

Requirements:

• Active Bar License in California (multi-state licensure preferred).
• Knowledge of consumer credit collections and related state laws.
• Familiarity with legal technology and case management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Must be a member in good standing of the California Bar.

Certifications:

• Active California Bar License (required).
• Multi-state licensure is strongly preferred.
