Duties:

  • Collaborate with other partners and attorneys to strengthen the firm’s practice areas.
  • Mentor and support junior associates and staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
  • Participate in firm initiatives, including business development and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to the firm’s presence in the legal community, including speaking engagements, publications, and networking.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
  • A portable book of business and a track record of business development success.
  • Proven experience in business law or a related practice area, with a strong client service focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • A professional, client-centric attitude with a focus on providing value.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong leadership abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
