Duties:

  • Assist in litigating civil lawsuits from inception through resolution.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and trial preparation.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of civil litigation experience.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Clerkship experience (preferred).
  • Licensed to practice law in New York.
  • Connecticut Bar admission (a plus).

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York Bar.
  • Connecticut Bar license (preferred but not required).
