Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, support, and property division.

  • Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law.
  • Strong knowledge of family law, court procedures, and state laws.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and emotionally charged situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-net-worth divorce cases or complex child custody matters.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
