Litigation Attorney

Job Title: Litigation Attorney (5+ Years of Experience)

The firm is seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in handling both plaintiff and defense litigation matters across various sectors, including business/contracts, construction, real estate disputes, and property loss. Duties:

• Represent clients in complex litigation matters, from initial case analysis to trial preparation and proceedings.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including business, construction, real estate, and property loss litigation.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders on case developments and legal strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, alternative dispute resolution processes, and court appearances as required.
• Ensure timely and effective case management with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with the team to develop strategies and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Stay current with legal developments and best practices in litigation.
• Maintain a professional and proactive approach while managing challenging situations.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in plaintiff and defense cases.
• Proven track record of success in handling complex litigation matters.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain legal concepts to clients and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
• Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of legal practice.
• Ability to think critically and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in good standing in the state of California.
