Duties:

• Advise and represent clients in a range of immigration matters, ensuring compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file various immigration petitions and applications, including work visas (H-1B, L-1), PERM labor certifications, and other business immigration processes.
• Handle complex cases, including appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
• Draft legal documents and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and clarity.
• Work collaboratively with the legal team while also managing cases independently.
• Provide legal counsel to clients from a variety of industries, particularly tech and healthcare, on immigration matters.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in immigration law and policy.

Requirements:

• Proven experience handling complex immigration cases, including BIA appeals.
• Familiarity with business immigration, including H-1B, L-1 visas, PERM labor certification, and corporate compliance.
• Experience working with clients in specialized industries such as technology and healthcare.
• Ability to handle a high caseload in a fast-paced law firm or corporate legal environment.
• Strong analytical, research, and legal writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
