The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience handling trial and arbitration/mediation cases within the insurance defense space. Duties

• Manage complex insurance defense litigation cases from start to finish
• Prepare legal briefs, motions, and pleadings for trial
• Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and other investigative activities
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure case progress and client satisfaction
• Provide expert legal counsel and strategy to clients on defense matters
• Draft and review legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Engage in settlement negotiations and strategize the best outcomes for clients

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil litigation, specifically within insurance defense
• Proven trial experience with a strong track record of success in arbitration and mediation
• Excellent research, deposition, and writing skills
• Ability to manage complex litigation cases independently and within a team setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, witnesses, and colleagues

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar
