Duties:

  • Advise clients on various aspects of real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and financings.
  • Review title and survey documents to identify key issues and ensure smooth transactions.
  • Work closely with the Energy & Climate Solutions Practice Group, supporting clean energy and climate-friendly projects, such as solar, wind, battery storage, nuclear, hydrogen, and carbon capture.
  • Assist with drafting and negotiating real estate documents, including contracts, lease agreements, and financing arrangements.
  • Collaborate with a small, high-performing team, gaining valuable experience while handling direct client contact.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through active mentoring and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by advising innovative companies and handling complex real estate matters.
  • Participate in cross-disciplinary teams to address multifaceted legal issues within the real estate and clean energy sectors.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in real estate transactions, including title and survey review.
  • Strong experience in drafting and negotiating real estate agreements.
  • Familiarity with energy and climate-related projects is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems in a complex, client-focused environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, precise drafting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar, in good standing.
