The Senior Immigration Attorney will oversee their caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with a talented group of immigration professionals.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and strategic solutions on various immigration matters.
• Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals, including both detained and non-detained individuals.
• Manage an active caseload, ensuring timely progress on all cases.
• Conduct client intake sessions with detained individuals at various detention centers.
• Prepare a range of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions.
• Review and amend immigration application packets as needed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations regarding changes in immigration law.
• Conduct consultations with prospective clients, advising them on potential legal strategies.
• Develop case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS hearings.
• Draft and file legal briefs for a variety of immigration matters.
• Offer legal analysis to clients, identifying potential benefits and risks for their cases.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and move cases forward efficiently.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian cases, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and USCIS applications.
• Familiarity with case management software is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a State Bar.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.
